Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical components and structures with precision and efficiency. We design and manufacture vibratory motors and drives that are used globally in industries such as mining, recycling and food production. Our work includes electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as control panels and PLC systems. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in Electro/Mechanical Engineering. This is an opportunity to get hands-on with real engineering products that are used worldwide.
Duties
- Read and Interpret technical drawings and specifications to assemble components accurately.
- Be skilled and experienced in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Have experience and drive to work from a pick list driven by MRP and customer demand.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during assembly.
- Document work completed and report any discrepancies or defects promptly.
- Experience working in a fast paced, yet accurate, environment to support the achievement of productivity targets ( once trained).

Experience
- Use hand tools, power tools,
- Knowledge of assembly processes for machinery or structural components
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of safety standards in industrial settings
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Measure, cut, drill, and assemble mechanical parts with precision using basic math skills
- Conduct inspections of assembled components to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist in the installation of machinery or structural elements on-site or in the workshop
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures
