Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role requires excellent phone etiquette, proficiency in data entry, and familiarity with Microsoft office. The Office Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our team and enhancing overall productivity.
The Applicant should have:
- A good understanding of Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
- Previous experience with SAGE 50 data inputting or similar is preferred but not required
- Be able to work on your own initiative.
- Be able to work well with others in the office.
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A keen eye for detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all tasks.
What will you be doing?
The role will be varied and include, but is not limited to the following:
- Placing warranty and chargeable service calls and deal with engineers.
- Oversee customer service requirements.
- Enter purchase ledger details into our system.
- Upload purchase invoices onto SAGE 50.
- Produce reports as required.
- Purchase ledger administration.
- Place purchase orders with suppliers.
- Managing supplier information and relationships.
- Typing quotations.
- Provide any required information to managing directors.
- General office admin duties.
- Work closely with other staff members in a small team.
Hours are full time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and a 4pm finish on Fridays.
