Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service / Porter at Heathrow Airport, where your energy and dedication will ensure a seamless experience for travelers and visitors alike. This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer service, airline check-in support, baggage assistance, and maintaining the airline's office area. Every day is different, and you'll play an important role in delivering a smooth, professional service for both airline staff and passengers.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers and airline staff.
- Assist with airline check-in operations helping passengers and supporting the check-in process.
- Coordinate with airport staff to ensure smooth flow of passenger traffic and support security protocols.
- Prioritize tasks effectively through excellent time management, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently during busy periods.
- Carry out portering duties including handling, moving, and assisting with passenger baggage as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the airline's office area.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and reliable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced airport environment.
- Physically fit and able to assist with baggage handling.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Happy to maintain the airline's office area to a high standard.
- Previous experience in customer service, aviation, airport operations, baggage handling, or hospitality is an advantage.
Working Hours
The standard working hours are:
- 05:30 – 09:30
- 10:30 – 14:30
There is also an optional evening shift available from approximately 17:30 – 21:30. This shift is not compulsory and offers additional hours for those who wish to work them.
Some flexibility may be required depending on operational requirements.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an airside security pass (5 year background checks and references will be required).
- Ability to work early morning shifts starting at 05:30.
