A unique opportunity has arisen to join the Burnley College Foundation Programmes as a Curriculum Manager. We are seeking an ambitious and experienced leader to drive the strategic development and delivery of the Foundation curriculum. The role will provide leadership across programmes designed to develop students’ employability, personal, and academic skills.
As Curriculum Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring outstanding standards of teaching, learning and student achievement across the Foundation Programme. Working closely with teaching teams, support staff and external partners, you will lead curriculum innovation and development, creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences that support learners’ personal, social and academic progression. You will also contribute significantly to quality assurance processes, student retention and achievement, and the continuous improvement of provision across the division.
The successful candidate will have a recognised teaching qualification, experience of successful teaching across a range of programmes, and a strong understanding of current developments within Further Education. You will be an effective communicator with excellent leadership and organisational skills, committed to safeguarding, equality of opportunity and professional development. The salary for this post is up to £51,782
