The respiratory, Home oxygen and pulmonary rehabilitation service is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the team to lead and provide administrative support for the service.
The team consists of nurses, physiotherapists, assistants and administrators providing care, support and education for patients with long term lung disease. We are a friendly, hard-working team who need your help and support to ensure the smooth running of the overall service.
The team has 2 bases, 1 in Oxford and one in Banbury. The position will require you to spend time at both office bases with some opportunity to work from home for part of the week. You will be required to travel for team meetings.
The service currently operates Monday to Friday 08.30-16.30. The role involves leading and managing the administrators in post and supporting team members with administrative tasks that are necessary for the smooth running of the service and for accurate record keeping. You will be required to work with the teams in the offices and will take messages for the team and act as the first line of contact for patients when the team are out in the community.
You will need to be motivated, conscientious and hard-working, and be able to work within a busy team.
Experience of working within the health service is desirable but not essential as training will be available.
Lead the Band 3 administrators to provide administrative support for the team
This includes :
managing patient bookings for home visits and clinics,
taking calls from the DUTY desk to pass work to clinicians,
managing patient flow through the service,
managing equipment and stores for the service
prove administrative support for meetings including taking minutes
