Senior Bodyshop Technician

About the Opportunity
Our client, one of the UK's leading prestige automotive dealer groups, is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Bodyshop Technician to join their successful Bodyshop team in Chiswick, London.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Bodyshop Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality cosmetic and body repairs, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards and within agreed timescales.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out SMART and cosmetic vehicle repairs
- Repairing scratches, scuffs and minor dents
- Refurbishing painted alloy wheels
- Preparing used vehicles for resale
- Windscreen chip and abrasion repairs
- Interior trim and cosmetic refurbishment
- Maintaining exceptional workmanship and attention to detail
- Working efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets
- Following manufacturer repair procedures and health & safety standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Technician, SMART Repair Technician or similar
- Experience within a dealership or professional bodyshop environment
- Strong cosmetic repair skills
- Experience repairing scratches, dents and scuffs
- Alloy wheel refurbishment experience
- Good paint preparation and finishing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
Experience working with prestige or premium vehicle brands would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
