About Us
RX Education is the education and qualifications division of Recovery Inc. We deliver industry-recognised qualifications in Personal Training, Sports Massage Therapy, and Gym Instructing through a blended model of online learning and in-person practical assessment across the UK. We’re launching our first programmes in 2026 and are building a small, highly qualified delivery team to support learners from enrolment through to certification.
The Role
We’re recruiting an experienced Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to join RX Education ahead of our upcoming course launches. You’ll be responsible for assessing learner evidence, conducting practical observations, and supporting quality assurance across our Sports Massage Therapy and Personal Training qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess learner portfolios, written work, and practical assessments against awarding body criteria
- Conduct IQA sampling and quality assurance checks across assessment decisions
- Provide constructive, timely feedback to learners
- Support compliance with awarding body and Ofqual requirements
- Attend practical assessment days (UK-wide, dates to be agreed)
- Contribute to continuous improvement of assessment practice
Essential Qualifications
- Level 3 and Level 4 Sports Massage Therapy (or equivalent)
- Level 3 Personal Training
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Assessor qualification (e.g. TAQA Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocational Achievement, or CAVA)
- IQA qualification (e.g. TAQA Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance, or equivalent)
Desirable
- Previous experience assessing/IQA-ing for an awarding body (e.g. YMCA Awards)
- Experience in Further Education or private training provider settings
- Active practitioner in sports massage or personal training
