We're on a mission to transform the way homes in Liverpool and beyond, power their lives. To help drive this growth, were seeking an experienced fields-based sales professional to join our team and play a key role in launching our solar and battery offering.
Key Responsibilities⚡
- You will take ownership of the full residential sales journey, meeting homeowners in person, designing tailored solar and battery solutions, and closing sales directly on site.
- Manage the full customer journey from initial lead or self-generated enquiry through to in-home consultation, proposal presentation, and closing the sale on the spot.
- Conduct detailed home visits to assess roof suitability, energy usage, and household needs, providing expert advice on solar PV and battery storage systems.
- Use company design and quoting tools to create bespoke solar and battery solutions, clearly demonstrating financial savings, payback periods, and energy independence benefits.
- Confidently present proposals in the home, overcome objections, and secure signed agreements during the visit where appropriate.
- Work a mix of company-provided appointments and self-generated opportunities through referrals, local networking, and community engagement.
- Act as a trusted advisor, simplifying renewable energy concepts and guiding homeowners through the benefits, process, and installation journey.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, with a focus on conversion rates and high-quality installs.
- Ensure all documentation, surveys, and sales agreements are completed accurately and in line with company, MCS, and finance compliance requirements.
- Stay up to date with solar PV, battery storage technology, energy pricing, and UK government incentives to strengthen your value-led selling approach
Who are we looking for? ⚡
- We’re looking for a confident, consultative field sales professional who thrives on face-to-face selling and takes pride in helping homeowners make informed decisions about renewable energy.
- Proven experience in field sales, in-home sales, or high-value consultative selling (solar, energy, home improvement, or similar industries preferred)
- Strong track record of closing deals in person, not just generating leads
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information into clear customer benefits
- Natural relationship builder who can quickly earn trust in a homeowner’s environment
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a performance-based sales role
- Able to handle objections confidently and close sales on the spot when appropriate
- Experience using CRM systems and digital quoting/design tools is an advantage
- Self-starter with strong organisation and the ability to manage a field-based diary effectively
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally/regionally for appointments
