Overview
We are seeking a self-employed Labourer to undertake a variety of manual tasks across different sites. This role offers flexibility for individuals who prefer to work independently and manage their own schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with general labouring duties, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and contributing to the efficient completion of projects. Prior experience in construction, maintenance, or related fields is advantageous . This position is ideal for motivated individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction with a valid CSCS card. We work Nationwide, so would be preferred in candidate can work away from home, and on night shift when required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing debris and organizing materials
- Carrying out manual labour tasks such as lifting and moving objects
- Supporting tradespeople and other team members with their duties
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area throughout the day
- Operating basic tools and equipment as required (training provided)
- Reporting any hazards or issues to the relevant supervisor promptly
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have experience in construction with a valid CSCS card
- Previous experience in manual labour or construction is desirable but not mandatory
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks over extended periods
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards safety and teamwork
- Valid driving licence is preferred but not essential; own transport may be advantageous for travel between sites
