Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cafe operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service to ensure smooth workflow and high standards.
- Lead and motivate a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and servers by providing clear direction, coaching, and support.
- Oversee food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations to guarantee safe food production and handling.
- Manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure consistent availability.
- Train staff on food preparation techniques, culinary standards, hospitality best practices, and safety procedures.
- Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain quality standards for ingredients and equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with team management responsibilities.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
- Experience in food safety practices and adherence to health regulations.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including food production, serving, and kitchen management.
- Previous experience in hotel or cafe environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of barista skills and beverage service is a plus.
