We're expanding and are looking for enthusiastic Class Leaders to join our fantastic Cook Stars team!
About Cook Stars
Cook Stars delivers fun, hands-on cooking classes for children aged 2–12 years in schools and community venues. Every week we inspire young chefs to create delicious dishes from scratch while building confidence, creativity and essential life skills.
We provide everything you need to run your classes – from lesson plans and recipes to equipment and ingredients. We even take care of all the marketing and bookings, so you can focus on what you do best... having fun with the children!
What's involved?
- Deliver engaging 1 hour 15 minute cooking classes.
- Prepare and tidy away before and after sessions (paid).
- Follow our easy-to-use lesson plans and recipes.
- Shop for weekly ingredients (fully reimbursed).
- Help inspire the next generation of young cooks!
As we continue to grow across Shropshire, there will also be opportunities to deliver workshops alongside our regular classes.
Is this role for you?
- You don't need to be a teacher or a professional chef! We're looking for people who:
- Love working with children.
- Are enthusiastic, friendly and reliable.
- Have a passion for cooking.
- Can drive and have access to a car.
- You'll also need (or be willing to obtain): An enhanced DBS check. Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. First Aid qualification. Don't worry—we'll guide and support you through the process.
