Qualified Nursery Practitioner
Where childhood is magical, curiosity is celebrated, and every day is an adventure.
Are you passionate about giving children the very best start in life?
We are a warm, family-run nursery located in the heart of Bramhall village, close to shops, cafés, parks and excellent local amenities. Children are at the heart of everything we do, and we believe childhood should be filled with wonder, laughter, discovery and magical moments every single day.
Our aim is to nurture confident, curious and happy children through meaningful play, caring relationships and unforgettable experiences. Using our own nursery minibus, we regularly take learning beyond the nursery walls, bringing children's interests to life through exciting outings and real-world experiences that inspire curiosity, build confidence and deepen children's understanding of the world around them.
We're looking for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner who shares our passion for creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, valued and inspired to learn.
Who We're Looking For
Qualifications are important, but attitude and passion are what truly make the difference.
You will:
- Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and a passion for delivering high-quality early years education.
- See the world through children's eyes and delight in their curiosity and imagination.
- Get excited about puddle jumping, bug hunts, den building, messy play and bringing stories to life.
- Love getting involved rather than watching from the sidelines.
- Understand that the smallest moments often have the biggest impact on a child's development.
- Think on your feet, spotting spontaneous opportunities to turn everyday experiences into magical learning moments.
- Be warm, caring, patient and nurturing, creating an environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to thrive.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Be reliable, professional and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
What You'll Do
As part of our team, you will:
- Create a safe, stimulating and inspiring environment where every child can flourish.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based experiences that encourage confidence, independence and curiosity.
- Observe, assess and support each child's individual learning journey in line with the EYFS.
- Help children explore the wider community through outings and experiences using our nursery minibus.
- Follow children's interests and turn everyday moments into exciting learning opportunities.
- Build strong partnerships with families.
- Work as part of a caring, supportive team who are passionate about making a difference.
- Help create magical memories that children will carry with them long after they leave our nursery.
What We Offer
- A welcoming, supportive family-run nursery where every member of the team is valued.
- A beautiful central Bramhall location with excellent local amenities and transport links.
- The opportunity to work in a setting where children truly come first.
- The freedom to be creative, follow children's interests and make learning come alive.
- A friendly team who genuinely care about one another.
- Opportunities for professional development and ongoing training.
- The chance to make a real difference in children's lives every single day.
