Truck Driver
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a flatbed truck, to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safe and timely delivery of cargo
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and secure it properly for transportation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role
- Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo
