The Role
We’re working with a well-established law firm in Tunbridge Wells looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor / Family Lawyer as Head of Department.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing a caseload. You’ll play an important role in the direction of the department, combining fee-earning with leadership and helping the team continue to develop.
Your work is likely to include:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Complex and high-value financial matters
- Private children matters
- Cohabitation and separation agreements
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
- Managing and developing client relationships
- Supervising and mentoring members of the Family team
- Supporting the department’s wider growth and business development
We’d like to hear from an experienced Family Solicitor or Lawyer with strong technical knowledge and the confidence to take a leading role within a department.
Previous management experience would be useful, although we’d also encourage applications from Senior Associates or experienced Family Solicitors ready to take their first Head of Department position.
