Mobile Patrol & Static Security Team Leader

The Role
This is a busy, versatile, and rewarding leadership role. You will bridge the gap between the road and the site, heading our mobile patrol operations while ensuring our static security officers maintain peak performance and compliance across all assigned client locations. You will work hand in hand with the Security Controller to ensure all jobs are carried out fully.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a busy team of mobile patrol and static security officers.
- Staff Welfare & Appraisals: Conduct regular welfare checks, site audits, and performance appraisals for security personnel.
- Mobile Operations: Carry out regular security patrols of client buildings and respond promptly to alarm activations using a company vehicle.
- Static Site Oversight: Supervise static security installations, ensuring personnel are vigilant, correctly uniformed, and adhering to site-specific instructions.
- Incident Management: Make quick, critical decisions during live incidents and report details directly to the Operations Manager.
- Fleet Care: Perform regular inspections on company vehicles and ensure maintenance issues are reported immediately.
- Documentation: Write accurate, detailed incident logs, site risk assessments, and shift reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Age & Driving Licence: Must be over 25 years old and hold a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years (Strictly required for company vehicle insurance).
- SIA Licence: Valid SIA Licence required (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred, with a strong track record in both mobile and static roles.
- IT Skills: Basic computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Work History: Ability to provide a full, unbroken 5-year work history (including verifiable proof of any gaps).
- Attributes: Excellent attendance record, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work flexible night shifts.
