Avocet Cleaning Services require a new team member to join there small friendly team at Alconbury Weald.
This is position is in brand-new school that opened in September 2024.
Cleaning Operative position involves
· Having your own designated area of cleaning that is kept clean to a high standard.
· Liaising with your supervisor if you need stock replenishment.
· Having good attention to detail.
· Excellent time management.
Areas of cleaning will involve:
· Classrooms – cleaning down desks, side units, dusting, hoovering, mopping if required.
· Toilets – cleaning of each loo, cleaning of sinks, hoovering and mopping.
· Hallways/ corridors – dusting display units, hoovering and mopping.
· Staff room – cleaning down tables, kitchen area, dusting, hoovering and mopping if required.
· Dining area – cleaning surfaces and display areas, sweeping and mopping.
· Any other areas that maybe required of you at the time.
· You will be designated your own area to clean.
This position is Monday to Friday 3.30pm – 5.30pm with 24-day annual leave
Previous cleaning is not essential as full training will be provided; Full DBS check will be carried out.
There will be the chance to work over time during the school holidays for the occasional deep clean.
Uniform will be provided.
