Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assisting customers with product selection, providing expert advice
- Maintaining attractive and well-organised merchandise displays in line with merchandising standards
- Processing transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Providing information about health foods and vitamin and minerals
- Restocking shelves and ensuring the store remains tidy and welcoming throughout the day
- Supporting stock management, including receiving deliveries and organising stockroom areas
- Engaging with customers in a professional manner, fostering positive shopping experiences
- Participating in promotional activities and seasonal displays to enhance sales
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Organised with strong organisational skills to manage stock and merchandising efficiently
- Knowledge of health supplements, or related fields is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is important
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain store presentation standards
