We’re looking for an experienced Property Inspector (Inventory Clerk) to join our team in the West London and Middlesex areas.
The role at a glance
You’ll be responsible for inspecting rental properties and preparing detailed reports at key stages of the tenancy lifecycle. This is a full-time employed position with a mix of fieldwork and reporting.
Day-to-day duties include:
- Compiling inventories for new tenancies, documenting condition and contents.
- Conducting check-ins and completing key handovers for new tenants.
- Carrying out mid-term inspections, noting ongoing condition and maintenance issues.
- Conducting check-outs, recording the property’s condition at tenancy end.
- Using tablet-based technology to dictate findings, upload photos and create professional reports.
- Liaising with agents, landlords and tenants, representing SRP professionally at all times.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as an inventory clerk is essential.
- High standard of written English, fluent spoken English, and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using mobile technology.
- Reliable, professional and self-managed – able to work independently in the field.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (mileage reimbursed at HMRC rates).
