We support children, young people and adults with complex disabilities through specialist education, care, therapy and support, helping every person enjoy being active in ways that are meaningful to them. We're looking for a Specialist Fitness & Activity Coordinator to join our dedicated team, delivering engaging, personalised gym sessions, games and rebound therapy alongside physiotherapists and multidisciplinary colleagues.
The role
You'll coordinate and deliver a varied programme of physical activity, adapting every session to the individual's goals, abilities and interests. Working across our education, care and adult services, you'll help people build confidence, develop skills and enjoy the benefits of being active.
You'll also:
- Plan and deliver gym, games and rebound therapy sessions.
- Work alongside physiotherapists to create personalised activity programmes.
- Develop new ideas that encourage participation and progression.
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming and engaging environment.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our specialist fitness service.
About you
We're looking for someone who brings professional fitness knowledge together with warmth, creativity and a genuine passion for helping others. You'll hold a recognised Level 3 Fitness qualification and have experience working in a fitness environment. Experience supporting people with disabilities or complex needs would be an advantage, but just as important is your ability to build relationships, adapt your approach and see the potential in every individual. Rebound therapy training will be supported if you’re the right person for this role.
