Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including <PERSON> driver-approved trucks, to deliver goods across designated routes
- Load and unload packages with care, often involving heavy lifting and manual handling in warehouse environments
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on the route
- Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption for reporting purposes
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with route management and customer service
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential
- Experience in commercial driving or operating large vehicles is advantageous
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially involving heavy lifting or inventory handling
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy packages repeatedly throughout the shift
