About the Role
As a Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centred dementia care while supporting and motivating the wider care team throughout each shift.
Working alongside the management team, you'll help maintain the home's high standards, ensuring residents feel safe, respected and supported in a warm, welcoming environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and support the care team during each shift.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with dementia.
- Administer and oversee medication safely.
- Assist with personal care whilst promoting dignity and independence.
- Allocate workloads and provide guidance to Care Assistants.
- Complete care documentation accurately and maintain compliance.
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and respond appropriately to changing needs.
- Liaise professionally with families and healthcare professionals.
- Promote a positive, supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Ensure CQC standards and company policies are consistently maintained.
What We're Looking ForEssential
✔ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
✔ Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader
✔ Experience supporting older adults living with dementia
✔ Medication administration experience
✔ Excellent leadership and communication skills
✔ Passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care
