About the Role
Suppleo Education are delighted to be supporting a fantastic school who are looking for caring, patient and motivated individuals with the same skillset as a Youth Worker to join their team as Teaching Assistants.
If you’ve supported a child with additional needs, cared for a vulnerable family member, or worked in support work, care, health & social care, youth work or mental health support, you already have the foundation to thrive.
No school experience needed.
FREE full Teaching Assistant training provided.
⭐ What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs
- Providing calm, steady 1:1 support and small‑group interventions
- Helping pupils regulate emotions, build confidence and engage in learning
- Working closely with teachers and experienced support staff
- Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
- Following safeguarding procedures and supporting pupil wellbeing
