We're looking for an experienced, practical installer to join our growing team. Whether your background is in solar PV, roofing or construction, if you're confident working at height, take pride in your workmanship and enjoy working as part of a professional team, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a varied role where you'll primarily install solar PV systems and carry out roofing work, while also supporting our plumbing and heating engineers on renewable energy projects when required.
What you'll be doing
- Installing solar PV mounting systems and solar panels.
- Carrying out roofing work associated with solar installations.
- Building and dismantling scaffolding safely.
- Installing cable routes and assisting with system commissioning.
- Supporting plumbing and heating engineers on renewable energy installations when required.
- Working safely at height and following Health & Safety procedures.
- Delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
- Working closely with colleagues to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
What we're looking for

Essential
- Experience in solar installation, roofing, construction or another practical trade.
- Comfortable working outdoors and at height.
- Strong practical skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Solar PV installation experience.
- Roofing experience.
- Scaffolding experience or scaffold qualification.
- Experience working within the construction or renewable energy sector.
