Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of motor vehicles and equipment. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery using schematics and technical manuals
- Diagnose faults accurately through mechanical knowledge and testing procedures
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tyre replacements
- Assemble and disassemble parts during repairs or upgrades with precision.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
Experience
- Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive or machinery.
- Good mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and components
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Experience in equipment repair, maintenance routines, and troubleshooting issues
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions
