SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Gillingham, Medway Towns (Kent)
Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday – Friday)
Pay: £92.63 – £105.00 per day (PAYE)
ANZUK Education is working in partnership with a specialist primary SEN school in the Medway Towns to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning team supporting pupils with ASC and complex needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant
You will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences, supporting pupils both academically and emotionally throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of inclusive and engaging lessons
- Encourage pupils’ confidence, communication, and resilience
- Provide consistent emotional support and encouragement
- Support pupils in accessing learning and developing independence
- Contribute to a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
Role Requirements – Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a passion for supporting children with SEND, including ASC and complex needs
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Be proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn
- Be available to work full-time school hours
- Have experience in a SEND or primary school setting (desirable)
- Hold an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in SEND or education (desirable)
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
- Have a valid Right to Work in the UK
