We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage reservations with professionalism.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring prompt service.
- Make high quality cocktails and other beverages.
- Serve food and drinks while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as required.
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing friendly recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and manage basic maths calculations efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
- Support in closing duties, including sanitising work areas and restocking supplies.
Qualifications
- Supervisory experience is desirable.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is desirable.
- Basic maths skills for processing payments and managing bills confidently.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
