As a Chefs Prep Operative, you will be responsible for preparing all food as per the recipe dictated and delivering 100% service to Chefs in terms of quality, safe product within required timescales. All training is provided.
The rate of pay is £14.36 per hour, £574 per week, £29,879 per year (shift allowance included) plus opportunities for over time, paid weekly.
Principle Accountabilities
- To ensure that all products are removed from cooking vessels in a safe and timely manner.
- To ensure that CCP targets are achieved or correct reporting procedure is followed if for any reason a CCP fail occurs.
- To ensure all products are handled and stored in a safe manner that adheres to CCP targets
- To ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
- Maintain strong communication links with both chefs and production to ensure safe handling of all products.
- Work areas are maintained to H & S, Hygiene, GMP and 5s standards
Key Results Areas
- Avoid non-conformance by following established procedures
- Any non-conformance that occurs to be correctly reported.
- Chefs/production are immediately informed of any non-conformance or any other issues that occur.
- Any production plan changes are reacted upon effectively.
