Job description- MET Technician
OC Motor Repairs Ltd is an accident repair centre that is part of the One Call Group of companies. It has been established for over 10 years, and is a group of insurance approved vehicle repair centres, working to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. We specialise in car body repairs and accident crash repairs.
We are currently looking to recruit a MET Technician to join our team and deliver the best customer service to our clients.
Work Hours: 7am- 5.30pm Mon- Fri
Place of Work: Hamilton International Business Centre, Hamilton, Glasgow, G72 0BN
Salary: £47,000.00 - £55,000.00 + Bonus
The ideal Candidate will be:
- Experienced in a MET (Strip/Refit) Technician environment
- Are self-motivated, enthusiastic and organized
- Are keen to support others and are cooperative team members
- The ability to maintain quality under pressure
Duties Include
- Assessing the level of damage and making a decision whether to repair or replace panels
- Removing damaged panels
- Repairing damaged chassis and panels
- Dismantling and stripping cars down
- Reassembling and re-building vehicles after repairs are completed
- All aspects of vehicle welding including plastic welding, MIG welding and SPOT welding.
