Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, ensuring smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation under the guidance of kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items promptly and efficiently
- Ensure all waste is disposed of correctly and bins are regularly emptied
- Maintain stock levels by organising and replenishing kitchen supplies
- Follow all health and safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential
- Basic understanding of food preparation is an advantage
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good teamwork and communication skills
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
