Portland Care Group is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Clinical Deputy Manager.

As a Deputy Manager you will be working as part of the home team, supporting the care home manager and staff to ensure that all residents physical, emotional and social needs are met. You will lead, guide, motivate and mentor your team, deliver clinical guidance and support, to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home.
Key responsibilities of a Deputy Manager:
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home and will lead the home in their absence.
You will take part in the on-call rota and will work as part of the Management Team to ensure that there is seven day management cover at the home.
In your role you will:
- Promote residents' rights and choices.
- Lead the team in delivering effective, high-quality care, that aligns with best practice guidelines.
- Ensure all staff are aware of the most current policies and practices.
- Assist with the recruitment, training, mentoring and supervision of staff
- Experience within a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Ensure effective communication with residents, relatives, the staff team and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure confidentiality regarding all aspects of care and management of the home is maintained.

Pay: Up to £25.50 per hour
