LAUNDRY ASSISTANT - 2 POSITIONS
We are seeking two reliable and hardworking Laundry Assistants to join our care home teams. These roles will work across two care home employers, ensuring residents receive clean, fresh, and well-presented clothing and linen.
This is an important role within our homes, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness, infection control, comfort, and dignity for our residents.
Main Duties:
- Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing residents’ clothing and care home linen
- Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensuring clothing and personal items are labelled correctly and returned to residents
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and hygienic laundry area
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Prioritising laundry tasks effectively to meet daily requirements
- Working positively with care staff and other team members
Working Pattern:
The two available positions will cover the following rota:
Position 1
- Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Saturday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Friday
Position 2
- Week 1: Wednesday, Friday
- Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Thursday
The rota includes every other weekend working.
Shift times: 9:00am – 1:00pm
(No break is scheduled due to the 4-hour shift length.)
About You:
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to a set rota
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ privacy
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or care home experience is desirable but not essential

DOMESTIC CLEANERS - 2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Job Type: Part-time
Hours: 9:00am – 1:00pm (4 hours per shift)
Positions Available: 2
Working Pattern: Rotating 2-week schedule
We are seeking two Domestic Cleaners to join our care home teams. These roles will support helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection prevention throughout the care homes.
Main Duties:
- Cleaning resident bedrooms, communal areas, lounges, dining areas, and shared facilities
- Carrying out daily cleaning tasks to a high standard
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and frequently used areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
- Restocking cleaning supplies when required
- Completing cleaning schedules and maintaining records
- Reporting any maintenance concerns or issues
- Working respectfully around residents, protecting their dignity and privacy
Working Pattern:
The two available positions will cover the following rota:
Position 1
- Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Position 2
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Shift times: 9:00am – 1:00pm
(No break is scheduled due to the 4-hour shift length.)
Applicants must be flexible and willing to provide weekend and holiday cover when required to support the needs of the care homes.
