To provide high-quality, confidential, and proactive administrative and organisational support to the Headmistress, with additional support to the Deputy Headmistress as required.
The postholder will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Headmistress’s office, acting as a central point of coordination across the school and supporting effective communication with parents, staff, governors, and external stakeholders.
Hours, Salary & Benefits:
Hours: 40 hours per week, permanent role, year round role
Flexibility will be required to support occasional evening events and key school activities
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 pa

Person Specification:
Essential
- Proven experience as a PA or senior administrator (school experience desirable).
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- High level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters appropriately.
- Professional, calm, and measured approach when dealing with parents and stakeholders, including during challenging situations.
- Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close and responsive collaboration with the Headmistress and SLT
- Experience of recruitment administration and safer recruitment processes.
- Working knowledge of employment-related compliance and safeguarding checks.
- Ability to maintain accurate employee records and manage highly confidential information.
- Experience coordinating multiple administrative processes with strong attention to detail.
