Job Purpose
To provide administrative and operational support to the transport team by keeping vehicle records accurate, tracking compliance, and coordinating routine services to reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Maintenance: Schedule routine servicing, MOTs, and repairs with local garages and workshops.
- Compliance & Records: Track vehicle tax, insurance documents, and defect logs in the fleet database.
- Incident Management: Support the Transport Manager by collecting accident reports, dashcam footage, and insurance claim details and liaising with our insurance to provide necessary documentation
- Administrative Support: Process invoices, manage fuel card logs, and ensure driving licences and CPC expiry dates are logged and recorded and highlighted to the Transport Manager before they are due to expire.
- Ensure driver medicals are completed timely reminding the driver and Transport Manager of expiry dates
- Support the Transport Manager with monitoring fuel usage and maintenance costs and provide regular reports to highlight excessive costs.
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time in line with business requirements
- Check daily truck and trailer inspections through the RHA App and report any issues to the Transport Manager

Skills & Requirements
- Computer Literacy: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and database management.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to deal with drivers and service providers.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage high volumes of data accurately and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in a similar role with a clear understanding of fleet operations.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
