Now Education is currently seeking a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive primary school located in Birmingham. This role involves providing 1:1 support for a child with autism and additional behavioural needs, making it a rewarding opportunity for someone with patience, empathy, and experience in behaviour management.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support a pupil with autism, helping them engage in learning and manage challenging behaviours in a positive, structured way. You will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. The position is Monday to Friday 8:30 - 3:30pm, term time only.
An ideal candidate would have experience in SEND schools or have experience supporting students or young people with Autism in a similar setting such as care.
