Contracts Manager (Estimating & Delivery) – Roofing & Solar

Ryton Roofers is a fast-growing roofing and solar company based in the Northeast, with branches in Crawcrook and Ponteland. Having grown rapidly since launch, we're now looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to cover both site delivery and estimating, helping us manage jobs from measure-up through to completion.
The Role
You'll carry out site measures and prepare estimates for new enquiries, then take ownership of those contracts through to completion — managing site teams, subcontractors, programme, and client communication throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Attend site visits to measure up and prepare accurate estimates for roofing and solar work
Convert estimates into won contracts and manage delivery from award to completion
Manage multiple live contracts simultaneously
Liaise with clients, site teams, and suppliers to keep projects on track
Monitor programme, costs, and quality throughout each job
Resolve on-site issues and variations as they arise
Ensure health & safety compliance across all sites
What We're Looking For
Proven experience estimating and managing contracts within roofing, construction, or a related trade
Strong working knowledge of roofing systems and measuring/specifying jobs accurately (solar experience a bonus)
Confident managing multiple sites and teams at once
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Full UK driving licence
