Job Description
White Rose Property Maintenance & Compliance Ltd is looking for a reliable, hardworking and punctual Skilled Handyman to join our growing team of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be supporting our engineers whilst also carrying out your own maintenance jobs across domestic and commercial properties throughout West Yorkshire.
Daily Responsibilities
- General property maintenance and repairs
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Patching plaster and making good
- Bath, shower tray and sink sealing
- Boxing in pipework and services
- House and garden clearances
- Gardening and external maintenance
- Tip runs and waste disposal
- Yard maintenance and keeping company premises organised
- Assisting other skilled engineers on larger refurbishment projects
- Loading, unloading and collecting materials
- Driving company vehicles and towing trailers where required
- Any other general maintenance duties required by the business
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within property maintenance is essential.
- A good all-round knowledge of domestic property repairs.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Comfortable towing a trailer.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving Licence (required) with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Must live within the Leeds area and be available for occasional emergency call-outs and weekend work.
- MUST be local to the Leeds area.
