Role: Senior Social Worker – Family Help Team
Location: Ilford
Hours: 35 Hours per Week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Social Worker to join a Family Help Team in Ilford. This innovative service provides integrated support to children and families through a relationship-based approach, combining Early Help, Community Social Work, and Child Protection Assessment.

The Role:
- Work directly with children and families to create positive and lasting change
- Complete assessments and manage Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children cases
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners and contribute to safeguarding plans
- Support court work, including pre-proceedings and post-proceedings processes
- Participate in duty cover on a 1-in-8-week rota
The Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- Minimum 1 year's post-qualified experience in children's services
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, assessments, and care planning
- Experience of, or willingness to undertake, court work and legal planning
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage a varied caseload
