Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals.
- Utilise medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Skills
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dental practices.
- Familiarity with R4 software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when required.
