Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cook and/or Kitchen Assistant to join our team in preparing delicious meals in a caring kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and possess the necessary culinary skills to excell in this role Working with the frail and elderly.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout the cooking process
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation
- Operate kitchen equipment proficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
Skills
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Strong culinary knowledge
- Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
Hours
- From 10 am until 6pm
- 2 or 3 days per week. more days available if required.
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
Experience:
- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
