Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 'Door Fitter' to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of garage doors and related automation, aswell as fitting Outdoor Living solutions. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service and durable solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects with a reputable company committed to excellence.
Duties
- Install, repair and service garage doors, roller doors and automation
- Install Outdoor Living solutions, such as awnings, pergolas and verandas.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and installation instructions
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, pvc finishing and sealing.
- Fair knowledge of electrical systems related to automation and garage door motors
- Skilled in use of all usual hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction work
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
