Float Hub is expanding and looking for an additional Float Host to join our team!
We’ve recently expanded our centre after a major refurbishment and have received fantastic feedback on our new space designed for ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our growth within the thriving wellness industry.
At Float Hub, we provide a premium environment for our customers to profoundly relax, refresh, and find focus. As a Float Host, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, high-quality experience.
The Role
Shifts will be flexible, though we expect regular need for the following shifts: You will work alongside a shift partner to cover the following shifts:
- Weekend mornings & afternoons: 8:30am-2:30pm / 2:30pm – 8:30pm
- Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:00pm – 10:00pm
This role can be covered by one person (approx. 20 hours/week) or split between two hosts. It may also suit someone local looking for just the Monday–Wednesday evening shifts.
As a Float Host, you’ll be integral to our daily operations, responsible for:
- Delivering professional, welcoming service to all guests
- Handling membership enquiries, sales, and renewals
- Maintaining the highest health & safety standards in the centre
- Restocking and cleaning rooms meticulously after each client
While the customer experience is calm, the operational pace behind the scenes can be fast during busy periods, so efficiency and attention to detail are essential.
Ideal Skills & Experience
- 1+ year customer service experience (required)
- Retail or sales experience (required)
- Strong communication and computer literacy
- Positive, proactive, and organised under pressure
- Experience in gyms, wellness centres, spas, yoga studios, or hospitality is a plus
- Housekeeping experience is a bonus
- First Aid qualification (nice to have)
