A Lead Certified Medical Assistant (Lead CMA) is an experienced Certified Medical Assistant who performs both patient care duties and supervises other medical assistants to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Job Description
Typical responsibilities include:
- Supervising and mentoring Certified Medical Assistants
- Coordinating daily clinic workflow and patient flow
- Assisting physicians with patient exams and procedures
- Taking vital signs and documenting patient information
- Administering medications, injections, and vaccines (as allowed by state law)
- Managing clinic supplies and inventory
- Training and onboarding new staff
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare policies and safety standards
- Scheduling staff and helping resolve workflow issues
- Serving as the liaison between medical assistants and clinic leadership
Pay: £2,900.00-£3,800.00 per month
