Location: Manchester (Office-based, Full-time)
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Our Client are a bespoke British property development company specialising in property investment, construction management, and premium building materials trading. Due to our continued growth, they are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team at their Manchester office.

Assist the Senior Accountant with day-to-day accounting duties.

Carry out basic bookkeeping, including processing purchase and sales invoices, receipts, and payments.

Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems.

Perform bank and supplier statement reconciliations.

Support month-end and year-end accounting processes.

Assist with preparing financial reports and management information.

Undertake general administrative duties to support the finance function.

Prepare spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.

Produce and edit documents using Microsoft Word.

Liaise professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and external stakeholders.

Previous experience in a bookkeeping, accounts assistant, or junior accounting role is preferred.

AAT qualification (or studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA) is advantageous but not essential.

Good understanding of basic accounting principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
