The Opportunity
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Primary and Secondary Teachers to join the school and support pupils across different stages of their education.
Whether your experience is within Primary, KS3 or KS4, you’ll have the opportunity to work within small, well-supported classes where relationships and individual needs are at the heart of the school’s approach.
This role goes beyond traditional teaching.
With small class sizes and strong support structures in place, you’ll have the time and space to build genuine relationships, understand each pupil as an individual and deliver personalised learning that allows them to succeed.
The school places a strong emphasis on helping pupils flourish — not just academically, but socially and emotionally too.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Teaching and supporting pupils across Primary, KS3 and/or KS4, depending on your experience.
- Working within small classes of approximately six pupils.
- Creating engaging, structured and inclusive learning environments.
- Adapting your teaching approach to meet a range of learning styles, abilities and needs.
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, including those who may have experienced trauma or significant barriers to education.
- Building positive, trusting relationships that promote confidence, engagement and wellbeing.
- Working closely with support staff and the wider school team to provide consistent, personalised support.
- Helping pupils develop both academically and personally, preparing them for their next steps.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for teachers who genuinely care about the young people they work with and understand that relationships are often the starting point for learning.
You’ll ideally have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs or within a specialist setting.
- Experience teaching within Primary and/or Secondary education.
- A genuine passion for inclusive and therapeutic education.
- Creativity and flexibility when adapting teaching approaches.
- A calm, resilient and empathetic approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils who may have experienced challenges within education.
