EXPERIENCED VEHICLE VALETER / DETAILER – GK MOTORS LTD
GK Motors Ltd is looking for an experienced Vehicle Valeter / Detailer to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role in a busy, fast-paced environment, so we are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, has a strong work ethic and can consistently prepare vehicles to a high retail standard.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be experienced in:
- Full interior and exterior vehicle valeting
- Professional vehicle detailing
- Machine polishing
- Paint correction and enhancement
- Removing minor paint defects, swirls and imperfections
- Preparing vehicles to a high standard for retail sale
- Working confidently and efficiently without supervision
- Organising and prioritising their own workload
- Working efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Managing a busy workload and meeting preparation deadlines
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You will need to be:
- Experienced in professional vehicle valeting/detailing
- Confident with machine polishing and paint correction
- Capable of working independently and unsupervised
- Able to identify what needs doing to a vehicle without constantly being instructed
- Hard-working, dependable and reliable
- Able to work at pace without compromising quality
- A strong team player when working alongside other members of staff
- Self-motivated and able to use your own initiative
- Someone who takes genuine pride in producing an excellent finished vehicle
This is not a trainee position. We are looking for someone with previous experience who understands the standards expected within a professional motor retail environment and can be trusted to get on with the job.
