We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Team Member (Goods Inwards) to support the smooth and accurate flow of stock into our store. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help maintain stock availability and accuracy, contributing to a well-organised and customer-focused environment.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time
Hours of Work: 26 Hours per week, working 4 days a week. Including alternate weekends, Thursday, Friday and either Tuesday or Wednesday.
As a Stock Team Member (Goods Inwards), you’ll be responsible for checking deliveries, updating systems, and supporting stock movement across the store. You’ll work closely with the Stock Supervisor and other departments to ensure efficient operations and a positive customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately checking deliveries and updating the stock system
- Supporting stock movement to the shop floor using picking lists
- Assisting with stocktaking and investigating discrepancies
- Processing returns to suppliers in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaising with the sales team to support store operations
- Following UFAS regulations and health & safety procedures
Experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stock handling (preferred but not essential)- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Good IT skills and confidence using systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards
