We are seeking a compassionate HMO Support Worker for Mansfield and Nottingham to support adults with complex needs. You will deliver person centred, primarily 1-to-1 support daily, helping our residents to build independence and achieve sustainable long-term independent living.
Main duties
- Provide emotional and practical support to residents with complex support needs, including physical health, mental health, learning disabilities, and substance misuse issues.
- Work with individuals and their families according to their person-centred needs assessments.
- Support adult ex-offenders and individuals struggling with drug or alcohol addictions to live as independently as possible.
- Create, implement, and review person-centred support plans with residents on a 1-to-1 basis.
- Identify areas of need and assist residents in developing practical skills for independent living.
- Document all support provided and regularly assess the effectiveness of the service.
- Work collaboratively with residents to promote positive outcomes and sustainable independent living.
Experience
- Supporting adults with complex needs, mental health conditions, learning disabilities, or substance misuse.
- Experience working in housing support, supported accommodation, or a similar care/support role.
Essential
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
- Full UK driving licence & access to vehicle
- Be on the DBS Update Service (needed for immediate start)
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, day shifts.
- Compassionate, patient, and non-judgemental approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with residents.
- Commitment to person-centred support and promoting independence.
Desirable
- Experience working with people who have mental health conditions.
- Experience supporting ex-offenders or individuals with addiction issues.
- Knowledge of person-centred planning and support plan development.
- Previous work in HMO or supported housing settings.

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
