Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) onboard an Offshore PSV operating out of Aberdeen, UK. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems onboard.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and maintain all electrical power generation and distribution systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot electronic, automation and DP systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic equipment
- Support safe vessel operations in close cooperation with the bridge and engine room teams
- Keep technical records, reports and maintenance logs up to date
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates for offshore/PSV trade
- Proven experience as ETO, preferably on offshore/PSV vessels
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Good command of English, with clear communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical and offshore certificates as required
