About the Role:
Vision for Education are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming nursery setting in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children and helping them develop through engaging, fun and educational activities.
You will play an important role in creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore and build confidence.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting children's learning and development through engaging activities and play
- Providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children
- Working alongside nursery staff and teachers to plan and deliver activities
- Supporting children with their personal care and daily routines where required
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Observing and recording children's progress and development
- Encouraging children's confidence, independence and social skills
- Following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies
Job Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or an equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working with children in an early years or nursery setting
- A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them thrive
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
