The University invites applications for the above full-time posts which are available immediately. We are seeking outstanding applicants with an established record in feedback control theory.
You will lead a vibrant research programme with a particular focus on robust control theory. Your control theory research may, potentially, also be motivated by advanced control applications to underpin research which is fundable by national, e.g. UKRI, or international funders, e.g. Horizon. You will contribute to both the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes, namely the group’s own MSc in Advanced Control and Systems Engineering and relevant Undergraduate (UG) programmes of the department.
You will provide support to the administration of the Department, the School and/or the Faculty as appropriate.
The balance of teaching and research responsibilities will be varied by line management from time-to-time based on operational needs.
